Beaufort (Eastern NC) Ghost Walk explores the Historic District. Expect to hear tales about the legendary Blackbeard, the famous Hammock House, and more. Beaufort is the third oldest city in North Carolina so it has a rich and colorful history. (252) 342-0715

New Bern Ghost Walk (Eastern NC) is offered just one weekend a year in late October, but it is well worth marking your calendar for this great effort put on by the New Bern Historical Society. Visit the website, or call (252) 638-8558.
Wilmington Ghost Walk (eastern NC) takes brave souls through its extensive Historic District filled with lingering spirits or you can opt for their Haunted Pub Crawl where you’re guaranteed to see ‘spirits’ before the night’s over! Visit them online, or call (910) 794-1866

Charleston Ghost Walk (Lowcountry SC). There is no doubt that one of the most haunted cities in the U.S. is Charleston. Georgetown Ghost Walk (Lowcountry SC) explores the many ghosts that haunt this port city, which was once the leading exporter of rice in the world. Visit them online, or call (843) 543-5777.

Myrtle Beach Ghost Walk (Grand Strand, SC) takes place at the ultra-touristy Barefoot Landing filled with shops and shoppers rather than a quaint historic district. I recommend skipping the walk and watching their unique Ghost Show instead. Lots of places offer ghost walks but this is a concept that I have never seen before. You must see it to believe it!
